Hyper Berlin is a community where we explore the collective building of hyperpop as both an aesthetic, a movement, and a sound.

Hyperpop is a glitchy, glittery, limitless universe, and as a part of Hyper Berlins three days events series, you get to step into a world of hyper objects, dreams, and sounds.

The community has gathered artifacts that represent their favorite songs, to create a micro cosmos representing the core of Hyper Berlin.

A playlist curated by the community serves as the inspiration and creation of all objects. It all comes from there. The collective sound of the objects has been interpreted into a final track, produced by Akï, one of the community members. The song will be played throughout the exhibition and will be released in full length at the afterparty performance.

Do some of the songs have a visuality in them for you? Did it make you think of a certain color, shape, or place? If you want to contribute with an object as well, the exhibition invites you to become a part of the hyper universe and will be continuously building throughout the three days as the visitors can contribute with their own objects that will be displayed alongside the objects from Hyper Berlin.

Want your object back? Come to the afterparty where objects will be given back to their owners. Contributors to the exhibition will get free entrance to the after-party.

Akïi will start the night: they are know for having a great time behind the decks, and bringing energy to the dance floor. Both in mixing and producing, rhythm is a main focus, together with ethereal sounds and glitchy ear candy. Between the worlds of breakbeat, experimentation and hyper pop, Akï has been playing around clubs in the UK, Berlin and Rome.

DJ Comedown artist from Japan based in Berlin. They have they have a unique style and ability to fill a room with boundless energy!

DJ Vartexx is a Berlin based DJ duo from Croatia that cherishes trance revival, g-tech, eurodance, hyperpop, breaks, bass, meme music and fast-paced techno mixed in a unique eclectic manner.
